Walking into Lillium, Phaedra looked around, she is still not used to the town, but she was happy that it seemed to have everything that she wanted. Today seemed to be a little different though, it had a much different atmosphere, and Phaedra was not used to such happiness emanating from the place. She was used to some happiness, but not a lot of it. Mostly, the atmosphere was usually busy, and not carefree.
Continuing to walk, Phaedra slowly started to hear some music call to her ears. It sounded like carnival music! There was a carnival nearby?! That would explain why the atmosphere seemed extremely happy compared to other days!
As quick as she could, the young woman ran towards the direction of the music that was playing. She only stopped when she finally saw a musician playing the music, and to her surprise, the place looked beautiful!
Little kids littered the area, some were trying to hook a duck, while others were walking with their family eating candy floss. Phaedra has never seen such things before, she has seen festivals before, but not carnivals. She has seen them on TV before, but not in real life.
“This is beautiful!” Phaedra cried out in happiness, jumping up and down in excitement before running over to one of the carnival games, which was a miniature rifle range of sorts.
It was such a colourful day today, she wondered if she could find that big teddy like they usually have in tv and music videos. That would be incredibly cool, she wondered what it would look like, and how fluffy and cute it would be.
“Umm, miss??”
Phaedra jumped out of shock and looked to the person who maintained the booth.
“Sorry, sorry!” She apologised, rather embarrassed before starting to shoot at the mini range, with the mini rifle that she was given.
