These are the systems are considered to be the most important so its best to get familiar with them as best as you can. Below you can find the systems that will needed to be remembered in order to start roleplaying. If you need to look for a specific section, remember to use CTRL + F (Windows) / Command + F (MacOS).

[nospaces] [attr="class","prl-back"] [attr="class","prl-txtcontain"] [break] [attr="class","prl-subtxt"]CHARACTERS [attr="class","prl-subtxt2"]CHARACTERS [break][break] [attr="class","prl-smalltxt"] In the roleplay, you will first need to make a character. The most important part of a character, is their level. Every character has a level, which serves as an indicator of strength. Naturally, the higher a character’s level, the more powerful that character is. In order to increase a character’s level, one must gain experience. This is done by completing threads with a single character and then submitting for evaluation. When a character levels up, they will gain one ethos slot and 100 points in both HP and EP, the ability to tackle higher rank missions, unlock stronger skills and weapons and earn certain titles. [break][break] The ranks are as so… [break][break] - Level I - "Citizen" | Ethos Slots: 2 | HP:200 EP:150 | EXP required: 000
- Level II - “Sightseer” | Ethos Slots: 3 | HP: 300 EP:250| EXP Required: 250.
- Level III - “Adventurer” | Ethos Slots: 4 | EXP Required: 500.
- Level IV - “Explorer” | Ethos Slots: 5 | EXP Required: 1,000.
- Level V - “Veteran Explorer” | Ethos Slots: 6 | EXP Required: 2,000.
- Level VI - “Raider” | Ethos Slots: 7 | EXP Required: 3,000.
- Level VII - “Labyrinth Master” | Ethos Slots: 8 | EXP Required: 4,000.
- Level VIII - “Liberator” | Ethos Slots: 9 | EXP Required: 5,000.
[break][break] All characters start at Level I and with 1500G, 200HP and 150EP, one weapon slot, two ethos and one accessory slot. In order to make a character, you will need to fill out the character biography template found below. An example character biography can be found here. [break][break] [break] [b]Name:[/b] [b]Age:[/b] [b]Birthday:[/b](input as ‘day, month’) [b]Voice:[/b] (How do they sound like? Linking a video is also allowed) [b]Level:[/b] Level I - “Tourist”. Inside this thread, a character bank post, an item box post and skill list will need to be posted. You will need to fill out three templates as separate posts and they can be found below. An example vault thread can be found here. [nospaces] [attr="class","prl-back"] [attr="class","prl-txtcontain"] [break] [attr="class","prl-subtxt"]STATS & SKILLS [attr="class","prl-subtxt2"]STATS & SKILLS [break][break] [attr="class","prl-smalltxt"] Stats and skills are not mandatory within all solo threads and all group non-labyrinth related threads, including PvP. However, they are mandatory within events threads, missions and group labyrinth threads. It should be noted, though stats are not mandatory, those that do use stats will reap higher EXP rewards in their evaluation. [break][break] The two main stats within the roleplay are simply health points (HP) and ethotic points (EP). Health points determine how many hits your character can take before either getting knocked out or, worst case scenario, die. When a character’s HP drops to 0, they are incapacitated and unable to continue within the thread. When this happens, all rewards are forfeited, EXP is still earned and the character either dies or simply barely escapes with their life, which is up to the player discretion. However, certain events and missions will always result in death upon 0 HP, so be warned. [break][break] Ethotic points determine how much ethos a character has left before it is depleted. Small insignificant actions, such as lighting a fire with fire ethos, flying utilising air ethos or breathing underwater with water ethos, do not use EP. However, using a skill will always deplete EP. Upon reaching 0 EP, a character can no longer utilise any ethos of any kind within the thread until it is replenished. [break][break] A skill is a special technique that utilizes a character’s ethos. They fall under three categories: offensive, defensive and miscellaneous. A character can use two skills per turn. Skills usually deal damage and sometimes have a special bonus effect. They require EP to use and the more powerful ones have a higher base damage and EP use cost. The template to create them can be found here, and the values of skills can be found here. They are to be submitted in Custom Market and to be graded by a moderator. [nospaces] [attr="class","prl-back"] [attr="class","prl-txtcontain"] [break] [attr="class","prl-subtxt"]EXPLORING LABYRINTHS [attr="class","prl-subtxt2"]EXPLORING LABYRINTHS [break][break] [attr="class","prl-smalltxt"] When exploring a labyrinth, it is up to the player to actively describe said labyrinth. As these labyrinths are randomly generated, moderators cannot simply make labyrinths up for the player, unless, it is a specific event. As a guideline, a labyrinth is a twisted, more evil, more dangerous version of the environment around it. If a labyrinth is at a city, then the labyrinth will have ruined buildings, corrupted beings and broken down houses. [break][break] To traverse through one “floor”, you must complete one post. One post is a minimum 250 words. Of course, you can go over this limit if you want as going over the limit will grant you more of a chance to earn higher EXP. It is best to preface posts with the floor number to avoid confusion. If you prefer threads to be in all one post, please ensure you section your work with the floor numbers. In order to complete a labyrinth, one must go through at least 2 floors. If a mission takes place in a labyrinth, there will always be a designated floor amount within that labyrinth. Missions are separated via ranks. A character can only take on missions that correspond to their level or fall below it. To “take” a mission request, one must write a post describing the character the request in the mission’s thread. For references sake, the majority of missions are uploaded onto a digital network system which can be accessed from any smartphone. Also, there are also machines scattered across the world that project holographic boards that allow anyone to access this network. [break][break] Once a mission is “taken”, the person who has taken the mission must create a separate thread at the location subforum where the mission takes place and complete the requirements. Only one mission is allowed to be taken at once per character. The only exception to this rule is if two or more people have taken a mission and one player has been absent for two weeks, in which case, the players who have been active will be allowed to take another mission. If another week passes and the player who is inactive has not returned, the mission will be reopened and the thread will be deleted.
