Hiraa's Desert

Far away from the edges of Lillium, the trees thin out and the sun shines even brighter over Hiraa's desert. A place of merciless heat, the desert has become renowned for more than just its scorching days and chilling nights. For some reason, it has become a hotspot for many deadly labryinths. The unknown rifts turning the already dangerous deserts into many a thrill seeking adventurer's grave. As such, many adventurers, young and old alike travel to Hiraa in search of fortune, fame or more. Only a few can brave the burning sands of the desert though and even fewer survive their journeys into the labryinths.

That aside, with the influx of adventurers and tourists, the outskirts of the desert has become home to small communities of merchants and desert dwellers. These bustling makeshift towns are most welcoming to weary travellers and are often the only relief found in the desert. Legend has it that the Goddess of Fire, Hiraa, resides in one of the labyrinths. However, those are dismissed as myths from a far bygone era.
